If it’s happening to you
For women navigating perimenopause and menopause
- Name what’s happening. Track symptoms for a few weeks. Patterns turn a vague sense of “losing it” into concrete, addressable facts.
- Know your options. From sleep and strength training to hormone therapy, effective help exists. Take your notes to a clinician who takes menopause seriously; you’re allowed to ask for one who does.
- You choose what to share. Disclosure at work is yours to decide. Adjustments (temperature, flexibility, meeting design) can often be requested without a medical explanation.
- Don’t resign to the fog. Major career decisions made at the worst symptomatic point are decisions made with incomplete information. Treat first, decide later.
